    Downtown hospital rooms tend to be space-limited. Our designs are sized to fit on a bedside table or window ledge.

  • Highly fragrant flowers are not permitted

    Patients in cardiac recovery, post-surgical units, or respiratory care can be especially sensitive. If the arrangement you have chosen contains these flowers, we will contact you and can substitute with a low-fragrance flower of similar size and colour so as to create a design as close to the original as possible.

  • Latex balloons are also not permitted

    Similarly, due to patient allergies and sensitivities, only foil Mylar balloons can be delivered to hospitals. You can still send one of our balloon bouquets, but we will simply substitute the latex for foil balloons of equal value. Please note that the 1 balloon or 3 balloon bouquet available to add at checkout are all foil only.

Some specialized units — particularly those related to mental health and certain acute-care areas — may have additional restrictions. We check with hospital staff and adapt accordingly.

Tip: Include the patient's full name and unit or ward if possible for smooth delivery. St. Paul's has many departments, so the more detail you provide, the better communication we can have with the hospital to ensure your delivery is made to the correct location.
