A heritage area located near Downtown Vancouver. Chinatown is home to several Chinese cultural stores and businesses. Also a main tourist attraction, Chinatown is one of the largest cultural communities of its kind in North America.

A large residential area located on the west side of Greater Vancouver. Dunbar-Point Grey separates the University of British Columbia from the rest of Vancouver. While the area is well known for is luxury homes, it is also home formany UBC students living in aprartments.

Located on the opposite side of Downtown Vancouver separated by the False Creek Inlet. False Creek was once home to several industrial warehouses but is now being re-invented with new apartment towers including the Olympic Village.

Located below the Granville Street Bridge and on the False Creek Inlet is a small island that holds a market, theatres, restaurants, art galleries and studios. Granville Island is a very popular tourist destination.

A large multi-cultural community on the east side of Greater Vancouver separating Vancouver from the City of Burnaby. Home to small cultural businesses and entertainment venues including the Pacific Coliseum and the Pacific National Exhibition.

A unique neighbourhood located on the west side of Greater Vancouver with a mixture of new and old residential housing. Kerrisdale-Marpole is located on the north arm of the Fraser River and is well known for its rural appearance and horse stables.

A beach side community located on the west side of Greater Vancouver along the shore of English Bay. Kitsilano is home to Kits Beach, Jericho Beach and several residential areas.

Located in Central Vancouver, Little Mountain is a large residential comminuty, but is most commonly known for Queen Elizabeth Park, which is home to Nat Bailey Stadium and the Bloedel Conservatory.

Located in Central Vancouver, Mount Pleasant is an upcoming area that includes the Vancouver City Hall. Mount Pleasant connects to all other areas of Greater Vancouver and has flourished since the introduction of the Canada Line Skytrain.

A busy multi-cultural area located in the south of Greater Vancouver. Oakridge is best described as a large rectangle with Oakridge Centre Mall is the main attraction for people travelling to the area.

A large, but quiet residential community located on the east side of Greater Vancouver. Renfrew-Collingwood is one of the fastest growing communities in Greater Vancouver and carries most of the traffic entering Vancouver from the Trans-Canada Highway.

Located on the west side of Vancouver, the Shaughnessy is one of the most affluent communities in our city. It is largely made up of larger, single family residences but is now becoming home to increasingly more townhouse complexes.

A large, forested park on the north side of Downtown Vancouver. One of the most famous parks in BC, Stanley Park is well known for its beaches and the large seawall that runs along its perimeter. Stanley Park is also home to the Vancouver Aquarium and connects the North Shore to Downtown Vancouver via the Lions Gate Bridge.

Located on the far west side of Greater Vancouver, the University of British Columbia Endowment Lands covers a large forested area that includes the University itself, large golf courses, residential housing and the notable Wreck Beach.

One of the busiest airports in Canada is located on Sea Island between Southern Vancouver and Richmond on the mouth of the Fraser River.
