BC Women's Hospital occupies a singular place in the lives of Vancouver families. We work with staff to get it to the right room, on the right floor, at the right time. We know that timing matters — sometimes the baby has just arrived and the room is full of family, and sometimes the new parent is resting and a quiet delivery to the nursing station is more appropriate. We read the situation and act accordingly.
